mrxvt-mini software package provides lightweight multi-tabbed X terminal emulator - minimalistic version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mrxvt-mini
mrxvt-mini is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mrxvt-mini package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mrxvt-mini *
You will get with mrxvt-mini package name, version, architecture and description in a table
